Christina Arrell, LPN Director
In her early twenties, 23 years ago, Christina and her family left the Twin Cities to raise their children in the country. She settled down in the small town of Hinckley, MN where they raised their sons. Over the years she worked many odd jobs, but something clicked when she started working in healthcare. She knew she had something to offer as well as something she got in return! It was the ability to make connections with those around her. Not only was she assisting others, but she got to know people on a personal level. The personal stories that had been shared throughout her career will never be forgotten, some funny and some sad but nonetheless all important.
Some of her personal enjoyments in life include her family, pets, classic car shows, long summer night cruises, listening to music, and a great sense of humor!
Christina has extensive work experience in the social service industry over the last 20 years. Over this time, she has worked her way up from a Home Health Aide and then returned to school where she obtained her LPN licensure in 2017. Since then, she has advanced her position to ALA Director.
Her passion has been to work with elderly adults who could no longer live independently as well as mentoring our staff at Scandia Senior Care. She strongly believes we can make a difference in the overall health and wellbeing of the residents we serve.
Kristina Schablitsky is the House Coordinator at Scandia Senior Care. She is the mother of four, 2 boys and 2 girls, and is happily married. She grew up in the small town of Isle, MN where she has lived most of her life. She started with Scandia Senior Care in August of 2014 as a home health aide and has since become part of our leadership team.
Working in health care has brought a whole new sense of caring and giving to her life. She very much enjoys taking care of people. Her favorite thing about working with the elderly is listening to their stories from their pasts and getting to genuinely know everything about them.
